Hotel guests using AI-powered booking interface

Sabre brings SynXis Concierge.AI into its booking engine—smarter, personalized hotel stays through generative AI.

Sabre Hospitality Expands SynXis Concierge.AI to Booking Engine, Elevating Hotel Guest Experience

Sabre Hospitality has announced a significant upgrade to its SynXis platform by integrating advanced artificial intelligence features, known as Concierge.AI, directly into the SynXis Booking Engine. This move aims to enhance hotel guest communications, streamline operations, and boost direct bookings, helping hotels compete more effectively with online travel agencies.

The expanded Concierge.AI suite introduces an AI-powered Booking Agent—a multilingual chatbot available in over 50 languages—that provides instant responses to booking inquiries, suggests rooms, supports the booking process, answers FAQs, and offers local recommendations. This technology is deeply embedded in the booking engine, ensuring a seamless, personalized experience for guests and reducing booking abandonment rates.

Additional features include:

  • Email Automation: Uses generative AI to extract key information from guest emails and generate personalized offers, improving efficiency and response times for hotel staff.
  • Social Connect: Enables AI-driven engagement with guests across social platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp, helping hotels monitor sentiment and interact where travelers are most active.
  • Voice Connect: Integrates an AI phone agent into hotel phone systems, providing 24/7 support for guest inquiries, bookings, and call transfers for enhanced operational efficiency.

Hotels can manage all guest interactions from a single inbox, gaining insights to improve conversion rates and guest satisfaction. The system is configurable at the chain, brand, or property level, allowing hotels to maintain their unique brand voice while leveraging automation for efficiency.

Early adopter testing began in June 2025, with wider rollout planned via Sabre’s Community Portal in July. The technology is already being used by groups like Langham Hospitality to enhance multilingual customer engagement and recapture direct bookings that might otherwise be lost to OTAs.

Key Points:

  • Sabre’s SynXis Concierge.AI now powers the booking engine with AI chat, email, social, and voice support in 50+ languages.
  • The upgrade aims to reduce booking abandonment, improve personalization, and streamline hotel operations.
  • Hotels can configure the technology for their brand while managing all guest communications from a unified inbox.
  • Early adopter testing is underway, with broader availability planned for July 2025.
