Ken Greene was elected President and CEO by a unanimous vote of the AAHOA Board of Directors. Greene has been in that position on an interim basis since June.
“AAHOA has been a part of my life for years, so while the fortuity presented to become Interim President and CEO, it was an easy choice to make” stated AAHOA President and CEO Ken Greene.
“These last few months have exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to continuing to establish connections with our officers, Board of Directors, Members, and Industry Partners.”
Greene led the association’s return to in-person events with the 2021 AAHOA Convention & Trade Show in Dallas, Texas, during his temporary tenure. The gathering, which gathered over 6,000 people, was the first of its kind in the city since the pandemic began.
“As a former hospitality brand executive, Ken has extensive experience working with AAHOA Members and a strong knowledge of what hotels require,” stated AAHOA Chairman Vinay Patel.
“He understands what motivates our members and how our organization can help them when the industry recovers.”
Prior to joining AAHOA, Ken was a worldwide leader of several renowned hotel brands, including Radisson Hotel Group’s President, Americas, Delta Hotels and Resorts’ President and CEO, and different roles at Cendant Corporation, Wyndham Worldwide and many of its subsidiaries.
Ken also just established Greenehouse Consulting, which specialises in hospitalities acquisition, management, and consulting services.
Sharif Khan, President of Hotel Biz Link Monthly Hospitality Magazine, congratulates Mr Ken Greene on his appointment. Sharif Khan has known Ken Greene from a long time and feels very happy at his appointment to lead one of the biggest hospitality associations in USA
