European midscale brand B&B Hotels is entering the U.S. market with its debut property in Orlando, located on International Drive, close to Universal Studios Florida. The 218-room property, formerly the Floridian Express motel, will undergo a comprehensive renovation as part of the brand’s entry into the U.S.
Valerio Duchini, U.S. CEO of B&B Hotels, expressed excitement about the Orlando debut and highlighted the brand’s ambitious plans for the U.S. market. “We are eager to replicate our success in Europe and become a leading player in the U.S. market, with plans for expansion in Miami and Jacksonville,” said Duchini.
B&B Hotels, established in France in 1990, has experienced rapid growth in recent years. With more than 770 hotels across 17 countries, the brand aims to reach 3,000 hotels within the next decade. The Orlando property is seen as the first step in this expansion strategy.
