Your perfect stay in Australia and NZ with EVT Ltd and Pro-Invest Hotel Group

EVT Limited Expands Footprint with Acquisition of Pro-Invest Hotels in Australia and New Zealand

EVT Limited is making a major move in the hotel sector, acquiring Pro-invest Group’s hotel management arm in a deal worth up to AUD 104 million. This transformative acquisition seeds EVT’s new “Connect Hospitality” division, marking its entry into third-party hotel management and instantly increasing its footprint across Australia and New Zealand.

Through this deal, EVT Connect Hospitality will oversee long-term management for 15 hotels—about 3,200 rooms—operated under respected global brands such as Holiday Inn Express, Kimpton, Indigo, Voco, and The Sebel. The properties, spread across key cities and tourism hotspots in both countries, will continue to operate under their existing branding. For hotel guests and partners, it’s “business as usual;” day-to-day experiences and standards will remain consistent.

Pro-invest Group is not exiting hospitality entirely; it will retain asset management for these hotels through its funds and continue to develop its own hotel, commercial office, and flex living portfolios. The acquisition, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close later in 2025 or early 2026. For EVT, this expansion brings industry-leading management expertise under its wing, echoing trends in North America and Europe where third-party operators are driving market growth.
