IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has launched the newest development of its EVEN Hotels brand, which includes a revamped restaurant and an integrated wellness experience. The new EVEN Hotels concept, developed in conjunction with franchisees, will be efficient to build and manage, allowing the brand to invest in additional regions and drive future development.
With 50 worldwide hotels open or in the works, EVEN Hotels was founded to help visitors maintain their healthy habits while on the road. The evolution of the brand meets the needs of customers who want to remain well when traveling for work or pleasure. The new adjustments are intended to provide flexibility and choice. The new EVEN Kitchen & Bar restaurant follows a focused service strategy and offers a menu that caters to visitors who want to eat healthy on the go while still providing alternatives for those who want to indulge. The prototype also incorporates in-room workout choices supplied via three additional room types.
Raul Ortiz, vice president, of global marketing and brand management for EVEN Hotels, said, “EVEN Hotels is a strategic long-term priority for IHG Hotels & Resorts. Enhancing the brand experience to reach even more guests while driving increased owner returns is the way we are growing EVEN Hotels. Our core mission is to put wellness while traveling within reach for more people. Our new offerings and richer experiences appeal to more travelers and owners.”
The updated EVEN Hotels prototype was on display at the annual Lodging Conference in Phoenix, and some of the new designs will be shown at planned openings in Austin and Waco, Texas; Bozeman, Montana; Portland, Oregon; and Long Island City, New York. With a newly signed new dual-branded hotel set to start construction in 2023, EVEN Hotels will soon enter the San Diego market.
