The Philippines has introduced a new visa-free entry policy for Indian nationals holding valid and current visas or permanent residence permits from the US, Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen countries, Singapore, or the UK (collectively referred to as AJACSSUK). This move aims to boost tourism and make travel more convenient for Indian visitors.
Under the revised regulations, Indian tourists arriving with a valid AJACSSUK visa or PR can enter the Philippines through any major international airport, secondary international hub, or seaport (including cruise ship arrivals) for an initial period of up to 14 days. To qualify, travelers must also have a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay, a return or onward ticket, and no derogatory record with the Bureau of Immigration. The stay can be extended once for an additional seven days, allowing for a maximum of 21 days in the country.
This policy update reflects the Philippines’ commitment to promoting tourism and enhancing connectivity with India, making it easier for Indian travelers to experience the country’s diverse attractions and vibrant culture.
