If you like Bugs Bunny, “Friends”, or Batman movies, it’s time to start planning a vacation to Abu Dhabi to see a brand-new hotel where the Warner Brothers World and its iconic characters come to life.
A large tourism attraction with theme parks, shopping malls, arenas, and plenty of hotels, the WB Abu Dhabi Hotel, part of Hiltons Curio Collection, opened its doors to visitors for the first time last week.
Guests “will be taken to a journey of discovery through film and television, enjoying Warner’s Bros.’ rich history and library of timeless works” during their stay, according to a statement from Miral, the hotel’s developer.
Throughout the hotel, there are photos, props and other movie and television memorabilia, including in the 257 guest rooms, which are designed to exhibit Warner Brothers’ history, the artists and performers that helped create its most iconic moments, and rare images from the company’s archives.
With five different dining options, everyone in the family should be able to find something to eat. Craft Services, a lobby coffee shop, and Sidekicks, which serves family-friendly foreign fare, are all available as is The Director’s Club (an upscale, more mature restaurant). The Overlook is a lounge with an infinity pool and panoramic city views as well as The Matinee, a casual diner.
WB fans can enjoy 29 different attractions split across six distinct regions at the theme park, which is right across from the hotel, including ones dedicated to “The Flintstones”, “Loony Tunes”, and Batman’s home, Gotham City.
For those wishing to burn Hilton Honors points, basic reward rates at the WB Hotel are currently averaging 50,000 points per night. The cash rates appear to be in the $300 to $350 range, plus taxes and fees.
