Under a partnership with pioneering Vietnamese private yacht manufacturer, Alliga Eternity Company Limited (“Alliga”), Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (“Wyndham”) has signed an agreement to launch the first Wyndham Alltra in the region.
The upcoming Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will feature 300 cabins and will serve as the inaugural venture between Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific and Alliga Eternity Company Limited. The superyacht resort is scheduled to open in June 2026 and will be located in the waters off Cat Ba Island within Vietnam’s stunning Halong Bay. Along with its impressive cabin count, the Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will offer guests access to eight unique dining options, a variety of meeting spaces, as well as recreational facilities such as a swimming pool and gymnasium, ensuring that guests have the opportunity to enjoy a full resort experience onboard.
Visitors who are looking for unique views of Halong Bay will get what they desired at Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba. While aboard the stationary superyacht, guests will have the opportunity to take in stunning views of the bay without worrying about any potential seasickness. Additionally, the Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will offer a range of family-friendly activities and programs to ensure an enjoyable stay for guests of all ages.
Moving forward, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific will continue to explore potential property opportunities in partnership with Alliga Eternity Company Limited. In addition to the Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba, Alliga is also planning to develop a second superyacht resort in Nha Trang, a central coastal city in Vietnam. This project is a testament to the trust and confidence that Alliga has in Wyndham and highlights the potential for future collaboration between the two companies.
Guests cruising aboard the Wyndham Alltra superyacht can expect a range of family-friendly activities and programs that offer picturesque views of Halong Bay’s stunning coastline. As part of its brand promise of “All-Inclusive Travel for All,” Wyndham Alltra is committed to meeting the growing demand for all-inclusive resort experiences. The superyacht will offer upscale services, amenities, and activities with a distinct local flavor, all at an exceptional value for guests.
Vietnam Express International reported that Vietnam’s tourism revenue for a certain period amounted to US$16.5 billion. Since reopening its borders on March 15, 2022, Vietnam has welcomed 3.6 million foreign tourists, and inbound tourism is gradually on the rise, with the country on track to reach its goal of hosting 8 million visitors in 2023.
“We are extremely glad to have found a valuable partner in Wyndham to share our like-minded goals and objectives. With this being our first superyacht project, it is a logical choice to tap on Wyndham’s expertise and market experience to embark on this new chapter to cater to more guests – both locals and tourists alike,” said Chairman of Alliga Eternity Company Limited, Bùi Viết Quân.
“Vietnam has been and will be a key strategic market for Wyndham in the coming years, especially as its tourism sector continues picking up. By signing this milestone project with Alliga, we are reinforcing our commitment to deliver sustainable growth of new brands in the market, coupled with innovative concepts and offerings. Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will be our first stationary superyacht in Asia Pacific and will join our existing Vietnam portfolio of 15 hotels across varying brands. We are looking forward to working with Alliga, to continue bringing our signature ‘Count on Me’ service to a wider range of guests,” said Senior Director, Development, South East Asia & Pacific for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Eudo Chan.
