As Emirates Airlines waits for the arrival of its brand-new fleet of Airbus A350s, it is launching a global recruitment drive for cabin crew members. With the addition of 5,000 new joiners, the airline aims to maintain its reputation for providing the best inflight experience in the world.
This unique recruitment campaign is targeted towards recent graduates, individuals with hospitality or customer service experience, and those who are eager to embark on an exciting career that involves traveling the globe. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work for the world’s largest international airline and receive top-notch training from industry experts, developing valuable life and hospitality skills.
Moreover, the new recruits will have the chance to visit over 140 cities in 76 countries and enjoy a wide range of benefits that come with being part of the Emirates cabin crew team. For eligibility criteria, interested individuals can visit the Emirates website.
This recruitment drive follows the hiring of a staggering 8,000 cabin crew members by Emirates in 2023, as the airline expanded its services after the pandemic.
In 2024, Emirates’ recruitment team plans to host open days and assessments in more than 460 cities across six continents. The recruitment initiative aligns with Emirates’ fleet and network expansion plans, which include the delivery of Airbus A350s from mid-year and Boeing 777-Xs starting in 2025. With 65 A350s and a combination of 205 777-9s and 777-8s on order, Emirates aims to extend its reach and flexibility in adding new routes to its network.
Once selected, new cabin crew recruits will undergo an intensive eight-week training program in Dubai, focusing on delivering exceptional hospitality, safety, and service. The training equips them with vital skills such as effective communication, initiative, leadership qualities, and the ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural team. Cabin crew members also have access to ongoing training programs and LinkedIn courses to enhance their professional development.
Working as cabin crew for Emirates offers excellent career progression opportunities, including advancements to higher cabin classes, positions such as cabin supervisor, purser, or trainer, and the ability to apply for internal vacancies within the Emirates Group.
Emirates’ cabin crew members enjoy a cosmopolitan lifestyle in Dubai, a city known for its vibrant culture, diverse cuisine, and safety. They receive competitive tax-free salaries, flying pay, profit share eligibility, hotel stays, layover expenses, concessional travel and cargo benefits, annual leave with tickets, furnished accommodation, transportation to and from work, and various other perks. Additionally, crew members can avail discounted flight tickets for friends and family!
