Driven by Healthcare and Financial/Banking sectors, Nashville’s success is evident in its average attendance of 103 and an average meeting space usage of 2,762 sq. feet. In October 2023 alone, event volume surged by 12.8 percent compared to the same month in the previous year.
The top five growth markets, apart from Nashville and Las Vegas, include Oahu Island, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Los Angeles/Long Beach. Each market boasts distinct industry drivers, such as Technology and Consulting in Nashville, Technology and Travel in Las Vegas, Travel and Pharmaceutical/Biotech in Oahu, Manufacturing and Charity/Non-Profit in Minneapolis, and Charity/Non-Profit and Manufacturing in Los Angeles/Long Beach.
Beyond the top 25 markets, Fort Myers, FL; Lexington, KY; Delaware; West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL; and Harrisburg, PA emerged as the top U.S. markets by year-over-year growth in meetings and events.
