Nashville has emerged as the leading hub for meetings and events, experiencing a robust 31.5 percent year-over-year growth, according to data from Knowland’s sales intelligence platform. The city outshone Las Vegas, which secured the second spot with a 20.3 percent growth rate, contributing to the overall 12.8 percent increase in the U.S. meetings and events industry.

Driven by Healthcare and Financial/Banking sectors, Nashville’s success is evident in its average attendance of 103 and an average meeting space usage of 2,762 sq. feet. In October 2023 alone, event volume surged by 12.8 percent compared to the same month in the previous year.

Beyond the top 25 markets, Fort Myers, FL; Lexington, KY; Delaware; West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL; and Harrisburg, PA emerged as the top U.S. markets by year-over-year growth in meetings and events.
