The Roomex Workforce Hotel Award was launched by Roomex, the premier travel management software for the mobile workforce. The award recognises hotels that provide additional services to meet the needs of workforce travellers, such as protected parking, early and late check-ins, and food allocations, proving their devotion and commitment to worker travel comfort.
Workforce travellers build roads, powerlines, and feed cities, performing project-based labour that cannot be done at a desk, so they have certain unique requirements which are different than other travelers.
During the pandemic, when leisure and corporate travel came to a standstill, many organizations were forced to keep their critical staff in the field. The hotels which received the award, together with Roomex, assisted in finding these travelers a home away from home at a time of worry and uncertainty.
“Workforce travellers have a set of really unique needs, that not all hotels cater for, “says Keith Watson, VP Supply and Customer Success at Roomex. “We wanted to recognize those that provide for this type of traveller, offering the best rates, facilities, and customer service.”
This year’s winners of the Workforce Hotel Award include hotels from Premier Inn, Dalata, Jurys & Leonardo, Atlas, Best Western Hotels and others.
“We are thrilled to have been recognized by Roomex,” says Patrice Lennon, Head of Sales and Marketing at Dalata Hotel Group. “Our workforce customers are extremely important to us, and we pride ourselves on providing stress-free, comfortable stays to make them feel at home”.
