Airbnb announces people can stay at the Home Alone house

This Holiday Season, You Can Stay in the Real ‘Home Alone’ House – Here’s How

Airbnb, the home rental company, recently announced that movie lovers would be able to spend a night in the original ‘Home Alone’ house.

According to Airbnb, the stay will take place “when the McCallisters are gone on their yearly trip.” Up to four visitors will be able to recreate their favorite scenes and delve into the full festive mood throughout their stay. What is the best part? Buzz McCallister, his big brother, will play host and pass over the keys to his family’s Chicago house.

“You may not recall me as being very hospitable,” Buzz said in a statement, “but I’ve grown up, and I’d be pleased to share my family home – even my pizza – with you this Christmas season. Just do not let my tarantula, Axl, get away this time.”

Guests will also be able to enjoy all the ’90s junk food they can handle and, of course, a couple of Chicago’s greatest pizzas. Guests will also get the opportunity to set their booby traps and meet a real-life tarantula.

Airbnb will offer a one-time gift to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital, whose aim is to preserve and improve the quality of life for each of its youngsters with complicated diseases, impairments, and chronic sickness.

The stay for four lucky fans will take place on December 12. Bookings will be available at airbnb.com/homealone on Tuesday, December 7 at 1 PM, CT time. The fee of the stay is $25, and visitors are responsible for their transportation to and from Chicago.
