Amsterdam-headquartered startup Transferz has secured €6.5 million funding. The company provides a global B2B mobility solution to travel brands for transportation to and from airports. The funding round was led by “a consortium of individual business angels and family offices,” according to the company.
“At Transferz, our focus is on delivering the highest quality of transportation services to global travel partners while also making a positive impact on the communities and environments in which we operate,” says Johan van Vulpen, Transferz CEO. “This new funding round will allow us to further invest in our technology and to expand our offerings on the Transferz tech platform”.
Established in 2020, Transferz collaborates with local transportation providers and operates discreetly in the background, enabling travel brands to present its pre-booked mobility product under their own branding. The Transferz platform provides any form of transportation to and from over 750 airports, seaports, and train stations, and soon, it will include “point-to-point destinations globally,” the company stated. Transferz anticipates becoming profitable in the upcoming months.
“We are directly integrated on the core platforms of leading travel companies such as Booking.com and Expedia, various airlines, online travel agencies, tour operators and corporate travel agencies,” says Transferz CFO Maarten Vrijhof.
