You could be starting your day with chilaquiles in Mexico or having a gaucho-style steak in Argentina or sampling luscious baklava in Turkey, and Ramada Wyndham may not only be sending you to these locales but also paying you $10,000 to experience the food throughout the world for three weeks. The hotel chain is looking for a Chief Eats Officer (CEO) who is up for the challenge of dining their way around the world.
Ramada by Wyndham will send one fortunate individual to five different continents to showcase their culinary and cultural experiences for the brand’s social and marketing networks. In addition to the $10,000 bonus, the ‘CEO’ will get free accommodation at Ramada by Wyndham hotels across the world, complimentary flights, and a daily stipend of $150.
“Food is the key that opens the door to new cultures, which is what Ramada by Wyndham is all about, inspiring travelers while connecting them to new global experiences,” said Stephanie Kendrick, brand leader and VP of Operations at Ramada by Wyndham in a press release. “Our lucky CEO will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in the best Ramada and its many destinations have to offer, all while bringing along a global audience to share in every moment of their life-enriching adventure.”
The selected individual will have a jam-packed itinerary and will visit eight countries in three weeks. Responsibilities will include creating a list of must-eats and the greatest things to do in the area, which will be shared on their social media account and highlighted throughout Ramada’s platforms. The company is looking for a person that will motivate others to travel and experience magnificent food and culture throughout the globe. Ramada by Wyndham requires candidates to create a minimum two-minute public video on TikTok (or email a video) explaining why they are the ideal candidate for the position. The video must include the hashtag @RamadabyWyndham, and the social profile must be public.
Candidates must display a passion for cuisine and travel, as well as the ability to express tales effectively through social media. You have until midnight on November 14 to submit your entry, and the winners will be announced on December 19, with travel taking place between May and August 2023. Ramada by Wyndham did not reveal which countries will be featured on the three-week schedule, but with over 900 hotels in 63 countries, there are plenty of options.
