Following Thailand’s achievement of 10 million tourist visits in 2022, Marriott International, Inc. announced on 15th December 2022 that it aims to have 50 hotels in the country by mid-2023, including the addition of eight properties in 2023. With these openings, the business plans to introduce two new brands in the country: Autograph Collection Hotels and Moxy Hotels.

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, and Renaissance Hotels are among the established premium brands that Marriott International continues to expand in Thailand. Midway through 2023, the business expects to open its first Autograph Collection Hotels property in Thailand, the Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection. Autograph Collection Hotels is a diversified collection of independent hotels that champions originality, with properties chosen for their innate craftsmanship and unique viewpoint on design and hospitality.
“Thailand offers an all-around unique travel experience from beaches, historical and cultural sites to exquisite dining experiences to a vibrant nightlife. Our 2023 expected openings in Thailand reflect the strong demand from both local and international travelers, to discover new and different facets of the Thai Kingdom,” added Jakob Helgen.
Marriott International’s expanding presence in Thailand complements its present management of hotels across 14 brands in over 10 locations in the Kingdom, including Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Khao Lak, and Koh Samui.
