Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has marked a significant milestone in Türkiye, with over 105 open and operating hotels and a development pipeline of 20 more properties. The latest additions are part of Wyndham’s ongoing expansion strategy in Türkiye, solidifying its position as the largest international hotel group in the country.
In a move that coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, Wyndham celebrated its 100th hotel opening. This milestone was achieved with the addition of the 176-room Days Hotel by Wyndham Istanbul Esenyurt, showcasing the company’s commitment to the Turkish market.
Wyndham now boasts a portfolio in Türkiye that spans more than 45 cities and includes a range of accommodation options, from economy to upper-upscale offerings. Türkiye is the company’s fifth-largest market globally by hotel count.
Türkiye’s Tourism Appeal: In 2022, Türkiye attracted over 51 million inbound visitors and has set an ambitious target of welcoming 60 million travelers in 2023. The country’s tourism sector remains robust, driven by both domestic and international demand.

Recent Hotel Openings in Türkiye:
- Days Hotel by Wyndham Istanbul Esenyurt: A new-construction hotel offering modern interiors, an on-site restaurant, outdoor pool, and wellness area, conveniently located near shopping malls and convention centers. It features 176 rooms and event space.
- Ramada by Wyndham Karapinar: Situated in Central Anatolia with 118 guest rooms, a rooftop restaurant, and a spa, it’s near popular volcanic lakes and cultural sites.
- Istanbul New Airport Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham: Wyndham’s first Trademark Collection by Wyndham hotel in Türkiye features 68 rooms and suites, a modern spa, and is located in the fast-growing Arnavutkoy district, near Istanbul Airport.
- Wyndham Afyonkarahisar Thermal & Spa: Located in Western Türkiye, this hotel offers 161 guest rooms and a large spa with therapeutic thermal pools.
- Ramada Encore by Wyndham Sisli: Situated in the commercial area of Sisli, Istanbul, it features 101 spacious rooms, a health and fitness club, and a restaurant with city views.
Future Developments: With a development pipeline of approximately 20 hotels, Wyndham aims to bring more branded offerings to Türkiye. Anticipated openings by the end of 2023 include:
- Wyndham Istanbul Old City: Located in the heart of Istanbul’s Old City, it features 138 guest rooms, a contemporary spa, and traditional Turkish baths.
- Operla Airport Hotels, Trademark Collection by Wyndham: Situated near the New Istanbul Airport, it offers 65 spacious guest rooms and an all-day restaurant.
- Ramada by Wyndham Istanbul Pera: In a lively and historical district, this 200-room hotel features leisure amenities, a specialty restaurant, Turkish Hamam, and Spa.
