Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that a Hyatt affiliate has acquired the me and all hotels brand from Lindner Hotels AG. This strategic move will allow Hyatt to grow its presence in new European markets and build on its momentum in the region.
The me and all hotels brand, which was previously nested within Hyatt’s JdV by Hyatt brand, will now become a standalone brand within Hyatt’s global lifestyle portfolio. The me and all hotels portfolio currently consists of six hotels and over 1,000 rooms in central city locations across Germany, all of which are currently included in Hyatt’s inventory.
The brand has a pipeline that combines conversions and new builds in key destinations, including Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, and Stuttgart, with an additional 1,000 me and all hotel rooms in Hyatt’s pipeline.
Hyatt and Lindner have had a successful collaboration, with Lindner’s team building an “incredible brand” in me and all hotels. The two companies are now shifting into “high-growth gear” for the me and all hotels brand, leveraging Hyatt’s global distribution engine and Lindner’s expertise in launching and positioning the brand in Germany.
Reasons for the Acquisition
Strengthening Lifestyle Offerings: The acquisition of the me and all hotels brand aligns with Hyatt’s strategy to expand its lifestyle portfolio, which has quintupled in rooms between 2017 and the end of 2023.
Enhancing European Footprint: The transaction builds on the collaboration that Hyatt and Lindner entered into in 2022, which increased Hyatt’s brand footprint in Germany and Europe, and integrated most Lindner Hotels & Resorts and me and all hotels into the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
