Hyatt Hotel Corporation is expanding its Andaz brand to Hong Kong with the upcoming Andaz Hong Kong Central hotel, scheduled to open in 2027. This will be the first Andaz-branded property in Hong Kong, located within the Central Crossing mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street in the city’s Central district.
The hotel will feature 125 guestrooms and suites designed to blend Hong Kong’s rich heritage with contemporary cosmopolitan style, reflecting the city’s vibrant dualities—old and new, East and West, business and creativity. It aims to provide a unique lifestyle experience with spaces that encourage social connection, including a dynamic Living Room lounge and an all-day restaurant. Wellness amenities such as a fitness center will also be offered.
Andaz Hong Kong Central will anchor the mixed-use project alongside premium office spaces, green leisure areas, and the historic landmarks of Tai Kwun, PMQ, and Central Market, providing a rich cultural context for guests. The development will also debut Andaz Village, a curated retail experience blending wellness and gourmet brands.
General Manager Hervé Mazella, with extensive luxury hospitality experience, will lead the hotel. The launch of Andaz Hong Kong Central marks a significant milestone in Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group expansion across the Asia Pacific, complementing other upcoming Andaz properties in Shanghai, Bangkok, and the Gold Coast.
