Hawaiian Airlines has the best on-time record in the United States. According to the annual Punctuality League 2022 research from OAG, which records flights and travel data, the Hawaiian carrier had an on-time percentage of 89.9 percent, placing it first in the United States for the eighth year in a row and ninth internationally. Hawaiian Airlines was followed by Delta Airlines, which had an 88.4 percent on-time performance, American Airlines, which had an 85.1 percent on-time performance, and United Airlines, which had an 83.5 percent on-time performance.
JetBlue ranked 10th in the United States and 59th internationally in terms of timeliness, with a 73.4 percent on-time record.
Eurowings, a German low-cost carrier, had been the world’s most punctual airline, with a 95.6 percent on-time record, followed by Garuda Indonesia and All Nippon Airways.
When it comes to airports, the survey rated the Charlotte Douglas International Airport as the most on-time airport in America and the 34th in the world. It was followed by Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is one of the busiest airports in the world.
Travelers who despise delays may consider a trip to Menorca in the Mediterranean Sea, where the airport has a 96.2 percent on-time rate. That was followed by the Greek island of Rhodes where the airport had an on-time performance of 95.4%.
