Come November 2023, Sandos Hotels & Resorts is gearing up to launch a revamped Sandos Agent Portal, aiming to provide travel advisors with an enhanced and more user-friendly platform.
The upcoming improvements are designed to elevate the booking experience for travel advisors, with a focus on user-friendly navigation and maximizing benefits. The all-new portal boasts an improved user interface, ensuring effortless navigation, and introduces Sandos Coins—a new rewards currency replacing Smart Points, where one Sandos Coin equals $1.
Key enhancements include five new functionalities catering to the needs of travel advisors. These encompass the ability to book commissionable hotel stays for clients, a simplified process for registering bookings, a live availability and booking tool for complimentary stays and travel advisor rates, the flexibility to use coins for various purposes, such as paying for room types and additional roommates, as well as purchasing merchandise and products at resorts.
Sandos emphasizes that the introduction of the enhanced Sandos Agents Portal is a significant milestone in the brand’s ongoing digital transformation phase. This phase also includes a redesigned website, the convenience of online check-in, and the integration of the Sandos App. For travel advisors holding Smart Points, the transition involves converting them into the new Sandos Coins. Those who prefer to use their existing Smart Points before the shift can apply them towards new stay requests until the end of October, valid for travel until December 19, 2024.
