365Villas, a leading vacation rental management software provider, has introduced WhatsApp to its suite of unified messaging tools for professional property managers. This addition enhances the 365Villas Integrated Communications Manager, which already includes Airbnb Messenger, SMS, as well as direct and channel-based email communication capabilities.
The incorporation of WhatsApp simplifies communication processes for property managers, eliminating the need to switch between different platforms to send and receive messages, including automated notifications related to bookings, pre-arrival instructions, and check-out reminders.
One significant benefit of adding WhatsApp is that it enables property managers to address the challenge of acquiring guest email addresses when bookings are made through channel managers. Often, channel managers obscure email addresses, limiting property managers’ ability to communicate directly with guests about their current reservations and future stays. With the integration of WhatsApp, property managers can now request this essential information directly within the guest messaging tool. Furthermore, the use of WhatsApp proves invaluable for guest communication in regions like Thailand, Bali, India, and Brazil, where email usage is less common.
The unified inbox of 365Villas relies on the same integrated architecture implemented throughout the platform. This ensures that minor actions taken by property managers trigger a range of automated tasks across the workflow, resulting in time and resource savings.
Dave Payette, the founder and CEO of 365Villas, emphasized the platform’s unique approach, stating, “Our unique approach to integrating email and other communication mediums with the rest of your business workflow means more tasks can be automated and managed simultaneously than legacy platforms. This saves our customers time, eliminates costly errors, and ultimately improves their service quality and response times, with the end result being a better experience for guests.”
