“Turkey, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates remain the most popular travel destinations among people in Kazakhstan”, said Inna Rey, President of the Kazakh Association of Tour Operators, in an interview with a news agency.
Thailand is yet another popular tourist destination, but local travel companies will only be able to offer more trip packages to the country if Thailand’s government relaxes entrance regulations. Local travel providers anticipate that Greece and Italy will be in great demand among tourists soon.
She stated, “they are interested in Europe’s attitude since they would like to resume flights to European nations in any case. They anticipate limitations to be relaxed since they are strongly interested in opening Greece’s borders”.
Rey stated that the topic of vaccination remained unresolved in Greece since different sources offer conflicting information on vaccination requirements for entry into the country.
As the United States relaxes all of its entry restrictions, local tourists in Kazakhstan expect that other countries would follow suit shortly. Croatia’s admission criteria have also been reduced; however, conditions alter on a daily basis.
Approximately 200,000 individuals left Kazakhstan last year because they couldn’t travel anyplace for nearly a year and a half, she said, adding that demand for travel has skyrocketed.
