If you’ve ever dreamed of exploring a subaquatic world, here’s your chance of living that adventure. Deep Dive Dubai, an outstanding new diving destination in Dubai, has opened its doors. Located in Nad Al Sheba, it is home to the deepest pool in the world, with a depth of 60.02 metres, and can hold 14 million litres of water.
According to a spokesperson Abdulla Bin Habtoor, Deep Dive Dubai pays homage to the UAE’s pearl-diving heritage, its inspiration of bravery and fortitude is taken in developing the concept and facility for future achievements and discoveries.
The submerged metropolis is one of the most popular features of the Deep Dive Dubai pool. Drivers will be able to explore an underwater environment that includes an abandoned cityscape, apartment, garage, arcade and other intriguing elements. Freediving and scuba diving experiences along with courses will be offered to people of all abilities by international diving professionals. This pool is packed with adventure and exploration.
Two underwater habitats with a dry chamber, 56 underwater cameras covering all aspects of the pool, and an underwater sound and mood lighting system are among the other elements of the 60-metre-deep pool. The water in the pool is purified and cycled every six hours, and the temperature is kept at 30°c.
The 1,500 square-metre structure is shaped like a massive oyster. It also has a diving shop, a gift store and a range of meeting, events, and conference rooms. Diners in the restaurants may gaze into the aquatic environment through large viewing spaces on the lower floors of the structure. This is open to anyone above age 10, from beginners to professional divers.
Deep Dive Dubai’s Director Jarrod Jablonski, a world-record-holding cave diver and a global figure in scuba diving said: “Deep Dive Dubai offers something truly exclusive for one and all and our team is steadfast to ensure an unforgettable experience with outstanding service. It provides a safe, exceptional, and controlled environment to learn about diving”.
