Baja California Sur’s (BCS) Attorney General of Justice has declared that intentional killings have fallen by 95%. Moreover, car theft has decreased by 74% since 2018.
Additionally, burglary and street theft rates have decreased during the last four years. The burglary rate has dropped by a remarkable 63%. Theft from the street, which encompasses everything from pickpocketing to armed robbery, has been reduced by 52%.
