In a significant move, Minor Hotels has signed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Development Fund to collaborate on the development of multiple hotels in the country. The upcoming projects will encompass a range of offerings, including mountain resorts, wellness resorts, and urban hotels, catering to diverse preferences within the Kingdom.
Over the next few years, several hospitality ventures will come to life as part of this partnership. These projects will feature renowned brands under the Minor portfolio, including Anantara, Avani, Tivoli, and Oaks, with each brand finding its place in various locations across Saudi Arabia.
Anticipated to be announced in the second half of this year, the first hotel project in Saudi Arabia will be a luxurious addition from the esteemed Anantara brand. Additionally, the partnership will extend to include properties under other esteemed Minor brands such as Tivoli and Oaks, further enriching the hospitality landscape in the country.
“This MOU represents a significant step, enabling the group to offer a wide variety of products from luxury to serviced apartments,” said Minor CEO, Dillip Rajakarier.
