With new developments In Jaipur, Varanasi, Mohali, and Udaipur: Wyndham will have 50 hotels in India.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, which runs almost 9,000 properties in nearly 95 countries that it is expanding its footprint in India with the addition of four new hotels under the Ramada, Howard Johnson by Wyndham, and upmarket Wyndham brands in Jaipur, Varanasi, Mohali, and Udaipur.
Wyndham will now have 50 hotels in India because of the new openings. The brand has around 30 hotels in the works, with eight planned to open in 2022.
According to Panos Loupasis, vice president of development for the Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, these four new openings mark a key milestone in the chain’s ongoing expansion aspirations to deliver even more lodging alternatives across the nation. “We look forward to continuing our strong growth trajectory here and in the wider Indian sub-continent and making travel possible for all in such a beautiful and diverse region,” he added.
The Wyndham Chandigarh Mohali opened in October and has 80 guest rooms. The Ramada by Wyndham Varanasi Katesar is a 68-room hotel in Varanasi, while the Ramada by Wyndham Jaipur North is a 107-room hotel that is set to open in December.
Wyndham Howard Johnson Udaipur Roop Nagar, which will have 94 rooms, is set to open by the end of the year.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has 22 hotel brands under its umbrella, including Super 8, Days Inn, Ramada, Microtel, La Quinta, Baymont, Wingate, AmericInn, Hawthorn Suites, Trademark Collection, and Wyndham.
