In Canada, Lake Louise in Alberta emerges as the most photographed lake, with a staggering 387.2 million hashtags on Instagram and TikTok combined. Known for its stunning turquoise waters, which freeze over in winter, Lake Louise has around 1.2 million tagged posts on Instagram and 386 million TikTok hashtag views, making it the most popular Canadian lake on social media.
Following closely is Lake Superior, shared by Ontario and the USA, with a combined total of 185.2 million hashtags. This largest freshwater lake in the world showcases nearly 1.2 million tagged Instagram posts and 184 million TikTok hashtag views, showcasing its beauty, especially during winter when the snow blankets its shores.
