A disturbing incident unfolded in a hotel in Lhasa, Tibet, around May 07, 2023, when a guest, identified only as Mr. Zhang, requested a room change due to a strong and unpleasant odor. Little did he know that this simple request would soon lead to a shocking discovery and a hotel murder investigation.
Shortly after being relocated to another room, Mr. Zhang was informed that he had unknowingly been lying just inches above a lifeless body. The revelation sent shockwaves through him and triggered a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the mysterious death.
Police clarified that Mr. Zhang is not considered a suspect in the case, as the time of death predates his check-in by several days. Nevertheless, the shocking encounter has taken a toll on him, causing significant sleep disturbances and leaving him in a state of distress.
“I find it difficult to sleep well ever since. I remain awake until the early hours of the morning, and even the slightest movement startles me awake,” Mr. Zhang shared, highlighting the negative impact this horrifying experience has had on his mental well-being.
