The website for reserving accommodations for fans attending the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar has been launched. The Hayya card, which is part of the Fan ID system, may also be obtained through the web.
This year’s tournament will take place from November 21 to December 18, with a total of 64 matches spread over eight locations. There will be a variety of lodging choices available, including hotels, apartments, villas, fan communities, and cruise ship accommodations.
Tickets are now available on a first-come, first-served basis here. The Qatar Accommodation Agency has “encouraged” all ticket holders to “apply for accommodation.”
The agency will serve as the primary booking tool for fans staying during the event, offering the most complete choice of hotel alternatives at a variety of pricing points.
“Although fans are welcome to book accommodation via hotel/holiday websites or other means, the QAA portal is recommended as it will have the most availability of accommodation options at fair prices,” a statement explained.
The digital or physical card will include all information for fans’ trips, including match tickets, lodging information, and Covid-19 status. A valid Hayya Card will also give free public transportation on match days as well as smart route planning (via the Hayya app).
